Muscletitan App Privacy Policy

Data controller

The controller of your data is Muscletitan, a gym and personal training service based in Montevideo, Uruguay. We process your data in accordance with Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Law No. 18,331 and its regulations.

What data we collect

• Your account details: name and email, plus a password that is stored encrypted (nobody, not even us, can read it).
• Your questionnaire answers: goal, level, days per week, where you train and your equipment, priority muscles, and physical limitations or injuries.
• Your workout plan and your workout history (sets, reps and weights).
• If you want, your WhatsApp number (optional).
• Your language preference.
• That you accepted this policy and whether you agreed to receive tips and offers, with the date of each.

Health data

The physical limitations or injuries you tell us about may be considered health data, which the law treats as sensitive data. Sharing them is optional.

We only use them to adapt your plan (for example, to leave out exercises that are risky for that area). We don't use them for anything else, including sending you tips or offers.

What we use your data for

• Generating your workout plan and saving it along with your history.
• Syncing your plan and history across devices, so you don't lose them if you switch phones or sign in from somewhere else.
• Letting a Muscletitan trainer support you, if we assign one to you.
• Only if you checked the box when creating your account: sending you tips and offers for personal training.
• Only if you left us your WhatsApp number: having a Muscletitan trainer message you to offer coaching.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Your data is stored in Supabase, the database service we use, on servers located in São Paulo (Brazil). This means it is hosted outside Uruguay.

Access is restricted: each person can only see their own data, and Muscletitan trainers assigned to support you can see your plan and history.

Calorie calculator data (sex, weight, height, age and activity level) is stored only on your phone.

We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Tips and offers (optional)

When you create your account you can choose to receive tips and offers for personal training. The box is unchecked by default and not required to use the app.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct, update or delete your data, and withdraw your consent to receive tips and offers. To do so, email us at muscletitanuy@gmail.com from your account's email address and we'll reply within the time limits set by law.

When you sign out, the app deletes your plan and history from that phone (they stay saved in your account until you ask us to delete it).

If you believe we haven't respected your rights, you can file a complaint with Uruguay's Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP).

Contact via WhatsApp

The app has buttons to talk to a trainer on WhatsApp. Using them is optional. If you do, WhatsApp opens with a pre-written message you can edit before sending. We only use what you send us on WhatsApp to reply to you, and WhatsApp handles it according to its own privacy policy.

When creating your account you can also leave us your WhatsApp number if you'd like a trainer to reach out. It's optional: the app works the same without it. We only use it for that, only Muscletitan administrators and the trainer assigned to you can see it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to muscletitanuy@gmail.com.

Minors

The app is not intended for people under 18 without adult supervision. The calorie calculator does not run calculations for people under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app works or what data it uses, we will update this page and the date above.
